Aquatint is a method for spraying watercolor on to prints, hence the name aqua-tint.

You're wrong! Sorry

However, there are instances of spraying color on to prints, such as airbrush, spatter and mouth-pipette.

It's possible, also, to spray water-based colors (such as watercolor or colored sumi) on to a plate prior to running it through a press. The paper is customarily a damp paper, so as it is impressed on the plate, the color transfers to the paper.

Try another choice.
