However, there are instances of spraying color
on to prints, such as airbrush, spatter and mouth-pipette.
It's possible, also, to spray water-based colors
(such as watercolor or colored sumi) on to a plate prior to running it
through a press. The paper is customarily a damp paper, so as it is
impressed on the plate, the color transfers to the paper.
