Artist's Comment: Cristina contacted me in 2008 and again in 2009, with her dream of owning a Mini Halfwood. Only one was available - a special one I had been working on for over two years, made of ebony. Very rare and expensive, ebony is also very hard to work. Cristina's decision to buy it gave me the impetus I needed, and the result is a crowning achievement for me, a fitting end to my 2004-2009 press-making venture. Then, she re-contacted me in 2020 after a long silence, and connected me with one of her current projects called Utopía [portátil].
