Mini Halfwood Press No. 32
Specifications: Made in 2006. Etching Press. Mini Halfwood Press Serial No. 60032, in purple heart, walnut and ebony, with optional brass bed in addition to the usual lighweight Lexan (polycarbonate) bed.
Artist's commentary: Barbara bought Number 32 from an acquaintance who lived in Seattle. This is one of the first purple heart presses made in 2006. It is one of the rare ones fitted with a brass bed, and a chase for printing unmounted linoleum cuts. Barbara wrote to me asking for a user manual, and thus began a pleasant exchange of emails, plus she sent a photograph from her blog. See Barbara's work in leather-bound books.
