Visitors to Ritchie’s International Institute for Studies in Multimedia Arts or RIISMA (an island on the Great Lake of Emeralda Region) play they come upon the resident art teacher’s cottage and enter - like in Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Instead of porridge bowls on the table there is a library. Browsing through the teacher’s journals and online computer files, they discover the RIISMA index of his writings . In my invention of Emeralda, I played I was the resident teacher on RIISMA and the other nine imaginary Islands-of-domains-of-expertise because I had won the Gates Prize, and I wrote my 'Zines. By the year 2009 I had written 389 essays!
