Specifications: Made in 2015. Pram Halfwood Press. Serial No. 122. Rollers are 1.5 x 6 and 5.5 inches top and bottom. The bed is 1/4 x 6 x 17.5 inch polycarbonate (the standard) with steel rack; overall length is 17.5 inches; overall width is 9 inches; overall height is 10 inches; weight, about 14 lbs; drive wheel is 8 inches diameter in stainless steel. The bed is rack-driven, approximating a 3:1 mechanical advantage. Wood is solid American black walnut. The pressure screws are linked and synchronized. The press includes two etching felts, user's manual, a PressGhost flash drive with USB extension cable for connecting to a computer.
About Jessica Meuninck-Ganger: She is a professor of art (specifically printing and narrative form) at UWM (University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee).
Comment: Cate Pfeifer, also in Wisconsin, originally bought Number 122 on Etsy in 2015. Cate bought another, larger one in 2017 and, in 2019, a third, previously-owned Halfwood. In 2020. Cate explained: "Jessica invited my husband and me to join the CCR Printing co-op in Milwaukee. I brought my Halfwood mini to a meeting and Jessica was delighted by it. I loaned it to her at first but eventually gave it to her. We both think it is one of the coolest things ever. "
