Printing for Earth Week
North Seattle Community College, Seattle, April 23-24, 2008
Sponsored by Blue Saucer Caffe and showing how migratory birds depend on the trees in coffee plantations that have shade grown coffee. Nellie Sunderland made the drawing and I etched it into the copper plate. People watched, and then they signed it, too, planning to come to the Blue Saucer to get it when the ink was dry.
Fourteen prints came out of this event. I chose to feature the Cerulean Warbler, and Nellie Sunderland provided the artwork for the etching.
