Comment: As it was with the drawing that preceded this print, there was an image of a sheet of stamps that obsessed me. I wanted to make it large, and then reduce it down through one of the photo processes with which I was experimenting at the time.
About Richard Adatto: In the 1970s he was an art student at the UW School of Art, interested in film making. He attended design classes taught by Bill Ritchie. Richard is one of the world's leading experts on French aerodynamic cars produced before the onset of the Second World War. Richard Adatto is the U.S. correspondent for the Delahaye Club and the Talbot-Lago Club of France. He is also the technical consultant for the Classic Car Club of American, has acted as consultant for Rolls-Royce and Bentley and has been a leading judge at the annual Concours d'Elegance at Pebble Beach for over 20 years. Richard Adatto authored the books, From Passion to Perfection: The Story of French Streamlined Styling, 1930-1939 and Delahaye Styling and Design, with Diana Meredith.
