About Dr. Allan Lobb: Dr. Lobb was first executive director of Swedish Medical Center/Seattle and an art collector, bird watcher and conservationist. He pursued a private life rich in art, writing, and maintaining a 40-acre nature preserve near Preston. He passed away in 1998, and is described as one who left our community richer.

Provenance: 1968. Print. Intaglio print from a zinc plate in black ink on white Arches Cover paper. Image 9 1/2 in X 11 1/2 in. Number 4/5 (?) Signed lower right. Other impressions of the print are in collections of Judge Gerard Shellan (retired), the Pat and Fred Brunton Estate , and the Ritchie Family Art Collection. It was shown at the Maple Valley Library, the Anacortes Arts Festival (Purchase award), and the "Seven from Washington Invitational Print Exhibition" which traveled in Japan in 1970-71.
