Provenance: Made in 1968. Print. Intaglio print from a zinc plate in black ink on white Arches Cover paper. Image 9 1/2 in X 11 1/2 in. Number T/P (?) Signed lower right. Other impressions of the print are in collections of Pat and Fred Brunton Estate , the Dr. Allan Lobb Estate, and the Ritchie Family Art Collection. It was shown at the Maple Valley Library, the Anacortes Arts Festival (Purchase award), and the "Seven from Washington Invitational Print Exhibition" which traveled in Japan in 1970-71.
About Judge Shellan: Among the many citations on the Web shows that Judge Shellan received the Distinguished Service Award from the King County Bar Association in 2014.
Comment: Records show that Judge Shellan, residing in Seattle, purchased the print, perhaps in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
